The log snippet of the slave log only synced 23 rows, and it took it 2 minutes to do so. No wonder it's not catching up! Increase the max sync group size to something much larger, say 500 or so. I believe that this is normal when you have a backlog. The logs can only switch once you've caught up. -Dave
