Hi, I've gotten a replication and switchover setup going with the scripts under /slony/bin. I start slon using slon_start -config ./slony/etc/slon_tools.conf N which reads the config file, but when I do a ps -ef|grep slon to ensure that the slon process is running I get the full conninfo string with the password for the database in plain text. Is there any way to get this password out of sight? M PS Sorry if this question was posted before, I wanted to do a search of the archive for this mailing list, but I couldn't find a tool to do this, any suggestions? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
