Attached is a path that puts the slony version number into the shared library file name and the .sql files that slony installs. This is to allow multiple slony versions to live under the same postgresql cluster or even the same database but with different slony cluster names. These changes will also give us some more options with respect to upgrading slony since it will allow us to possibly call functions on both the old and new versions. I am looking for feedback on these changes. If packagers have any objection (or comments) to these changes now would be a good time to speak up. This patch could also some testing on platforms other than win32, AIX or Linux. In particular if anyone is running slony on HPUX I would appreciate you testing this since I had to change the Makefile.hpux file. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
