That's looking increasingly like a dependancy on The DBMS With an O In
Its Name ;-).

There is merit to redoing parts of Slony in a language less nasty about
threading and string manipulation than C, but that's not nearly the same
thing as saying "sure, port to Java!"  (If Go ran on more than x86, ARM,
x86_64, I might wonder about it as an option...)

Also, JavaScript != Java.  They are quite separate languages, and the
fact that both contain "Java" in their name misleads people to imagine
they are rather more related than they are.
