Hi,

First of all, you should use slony 1.2.21.

Second, there is no limitation on the number of databases your master hosts.

Personally, I work with slony1_ctl (http://slony1-ctl.projects.postgresql.org/)
to deal with my replications. So I'm afraid I can't help choosing between perl
or slonik scripts.

If ever you want to give slony1-ctl a try, don't hesitate to ask for help.

Best regards,
