With slony 1.2.x (or earlier) this won't work for a slave database.

You must use the UNINSTALL NODE slonik command.  See
(http://www.slony.info/documentation/1.2/stmtuninstallnode.html)


It is important that you "uninstall" the slave node BEFORE your drop the 
slony schema on that slave node.
