The git repository has now been populated with the slony1-engine source 
history.

The configure.ac file used a CVS $Name$ tag which is a symbolic tag that 
gets the value substituted in based on how you checked out your working 
copy of the source.   This isn't really representable in git.   The same 
thing applies to a few tags in comments.  Other than that my diffs on 
all the tags show it being the same as in cvs.

If anyone finds issues with the conversion please report them.
