Everytime I try to restart postgres it give me following messages: -bash-3.2$ pg_ctl restar pg_ctl: unrecognized operation mode "restar" Try "pg_ctl --help" for more information. -bash-3.2$ pg_ctl restart pg_ctl: PID file "/var/lib/pgsql/data/postmaster.pid" does not exist Is postmaster running? starting postmaster anyway pg_ctl: could not read file "/var/lib/pgsql/data/postmaster.opts" -bash-3.2$ is that normal?
