Let me rephrase: I can saturate my network with rsync, but Slony doesn't seem to follow suit (even bumping SLON_FETCH_DATA_SIZE). I do understand, however, that pumping data between nodes isn't the only processing being done. I'll say this about Slony though: the documentation is /comprehensive/. I think the only area it's lacking is in problem resolution. /aside: The CommandPrompt crew will (apparently) release Mammoth Replicator as open source soon. I'm keen to give it a swing to see how their non-trigger approach performs. Our system is excessive-replication-lag intolerant... Regards Henry
