Am I correct in thinking that there are cases where you don't need to set up replication of sequences at all? For example, if you're setting up Slony slaves for the sole purpose of off-loading read-only queries from the master *and* you only ever use sequences in conjunction with "serial" columns, then sequences on the slaves are irrelevant and could be ignored altogether.
