Hi People,
I'm trying to get Slony-I 1.2 up and running and I wanted to use
PgAdminIII 1.8 to create my replication cluster. However when I go to
create a new Slony-I cluster, the status bar says;
"Slony-I creation scripts not available; only joining possible"
I've installed Postgres 8.2.5 with its adminpack from source and
installed Slony-I 1.2 from source too.
My Postgres data direcroty is /usr/local/pgsql/data and Slony-I
installed the *.sql scripts in /usr/local/pgsql/share
So should PgAdmin be able to see them? Do they need to be somewhere
else or do I need some Environment variables set?
So far I just add /usr/local/pgsql/lib to my LD_LIBRARY_PATH and
/usr/local/pgsql/bin to my PATH and export in the default profile.
What I wanted to do was follow the pgAdmin guide to setting up a
cluster, but if I have to do it otherwise then I don't mind.
Any ideas, recommendations and pointers to documentation and guides
would also be appreciated.
Thanks
Glyn
