It does show more help; "slon -h" didn't use to indicate that it had -h/-v options, and it does, now... I'm going to have to go on record against using getopt_long(); that's not available on non-GNU/non-BSD systems without adding in an extra library. I am really disinclined to require this (explained in one word: AIX ;-)).
