Hi,

I am trying to use Slony1 (1.2.1) to migrate databases from PG7.4 to PG8.2.
By now, I have 2 distincts machines for the 7.4 and the 8.2 servers,
both on debian stable, kernel 2.6.15. 4 GB of RAM on both, 4 processors
are seen.

Slony has been compiled against PG7.4 on the first server. On the second
one against 8.2. But, I execute every command on the first one, as I

On the 7.4 server, I have some 24 distinct databases. These are still
accessed by developpers.

I would like to replicate 16 of them on the new 8.2 server. I have then
created as much configuration files for Slony.

But, launching simultaneous replication make PG fall for "Out of memory"
reason.
By the way, Slony restarts replication and warns me it can't find
slon_tools.conf. Th fact is I don't use this file but customized files
which I pass Slony through the use of --config option.

What am I doing wrong ? What should I do I don't ?

Cheers,

SAS
