Hello all ,
Is Slony 1.2.stable compatible with postgreSQl 8.2?
 
I  am having  PG 8.2 on linux machine along with slony
1.2.stable.
Everything goes smooth but the data is not copied to
the slave. the slon process of slave gives massage "
transactions earlier than XID 48032 are still in
progress"
checked with pg_lock and there are lots of transaction
pending before 48032 .The error massage seems to be
obvious with this condition.
but these processes are not completed for a long time
. also when I configure database for replication I get
following massage and then configure process is done.
 
<stdin>:6: Possible unsupported PostgreSQL version
(80200) 8.2, defaulting to 8.0 support
<stdin>:70: Possible unsupported PostgreSQL version
(80200) 8.2, defaulting to 8.0 support

 
 
Also  during subscription the subscription event take
very long and end with time out massage .
attached are the configuration and subscription files.
 
I even tried taking 2/3 tables but same happens
 
 
 
Please help me ....
