I just committed a script to CVS HEAD that tries to build replication
without there being a node #1.

I instead have nodes "11" and "22".  (That's not names; that's
numbers.  I'm working on named nodes; starting to get somewhere...)

I have not yet had success with this test; when there is no node 1,
the attempt to create node #22 fails.

I can't trace why yet; it may be worth Jan taking a peek at the output
to see what's up...
