Ack, I got distracted, and sent this before checking to see if the CVS
version had changed -- this is a patch against 1.0.5, not HEAD.

I'll submit a new patch once I get some feedback on the message I just sent
about adding an --execute option, since it looks like that will change the
patch a bit.
