For a given request, it take 4 s on the master and 8 s on the slave. The query is execute via a web service. The 2 databases are on 2 distinct server. On the 2 servers, there is a jboss. the configuration of the server is exactly the same like the configuration of the JVM for the jboss. The servers are on the same network and communicate with one apache. So i don't understand why the queries is slower on the slave than on the master. The only difference is the su state of the database. But it can be interresting to pass the slave read-write and see if there is the same difference with the master.
