There is no way of getting all of these enhancements into 1.0.6. We can 
discuss things like the logging and maybe the vacuum disable flag. But 
you have to keep in mind that 1.0.STABLE is the Bugfix branch and that 
we need to be able to push out another 1.0.x release maybe in hours if 
we discover a serious bug in there. Forcing everyone who has 1.0.x in 
production to accept automatic listen entries and sync generation or he 
can't fix that bug is not an option.
