Gee, the sluices are open suddenly on this mailing list. Disregard this one please - one of our environment config scripts was inadvertently setting the TZ env variable! (how embarrassing...) - DAP -----Original Message----- From: David Parker Sent: Wednesday, June 09, 2004 1:09 PM To: Slony-I Mailing List Subject: [Slony1-general] slony setup Hi. I'm trying to set up the initial slony sample (using pgbench, etc.). I copied the example slonik script out of README into a setup.sh file. When I run it I get the following error: % setup.sh <stdin>:64: PGRES_FATAL_ERROR select "_slonytest1".storeNode_int(1, 'Node 1'); select "_slonytest1".enableNode_int(1); - ERROR: invalid input syntax for type timestamp: "Wed Jun 09 16:46:49.956117 2004 /home/dparker/projects/vibe/sandbox/src/com/tazz" CONTEXT: PL/pgSQL function "enablenode_int" line 32 at SQL statement It looks like a timestamp value is getting generated incorrectly, but I'm not sure where to start looking for the problem. I don't see anywhere that a timestamp is being generated in slony_funcs.sql. Any clues would be appreciated.... - DAP ====================================================== David Parker Tazz Networks (401) 709-5130 _______________________________________________ Slony1-general mailing list Slony1-general at gborg.postgresql.org http://gborg.postgresql.org/mailman/listinfo/slony1-general
