You should not associate an entire node with a master/slave role. Slony
is a network of equal nodes. Any table or sequence replicated under
Slony is a member of one (and only one) set At any given time a set has
an origin, where it can be modified, and zero or more subscribers, where
it is read-only.

In some sense therefore the answer to your question is yes. Node1 can be
"master" with node2 being "slave" for tableA, while at the same time
node2 is "master" and node1 is "slave" for tableB. But one and the same
table cannot have more than one node that is allowed to issue updates.
