Hi,

I'm finally getting started with Slony (I've been wanting to dig into it
since July), and hope to be able to contribute to the documentation and
altperl tools in the process.

First thing I noticed: only about half of the .pl files in the tools/altperl
directory (1.0.5 distribution) have permissions 755.  The others are 644.

It's a small issue, I know, but I had to start somewhere.  :-)
