Ok.  We should probably put a check in, as it's nicer to tell people up 
front that their version of PG is too old rather than them having to 
search mailing lists and stuff to figure out why.

We should probably adjust the error messages in configure and 
acx_libpq.m4 to indicate this, as well as the statement in the README 
that says "Slony currently supports PostgreSQL 7.3.x, 7.4.x, and 8.x.".

Hmmm... is it ok to give me commit privs to the Slony CVS?  I'm good at 
tidying up small things like documentation tweaks and stuff.
