Did you add the new table to the replication set? Replication is configured in terms of sets of tables, not individual tables.

If you set up slony initially with the slony_setup.pl, then you might not have noticed
that it created a replication set out the tables in your master schema.

I haven't done this, but I gather that you can't use the slonik command "set add table" if the set is currently subscribed. I think the recommended approach is to create a new set with your new table in it, then use the slonik "merge set" command.

But somebody more knowledgeable could probably give you more details.

Subject: [Slony1-general] table replication problem

Hi,

I have a problem with Slony1. When i add new data in tables, the replication works good but when i add a new table to the master database, this table is not replicated on the slave database.
Is slony-1 deals with table replication ?
Thanks for the answer.

Best regards
Tony
