http://www.slony.info/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=350 Summary: Cleanup Interval is a bit ill defined Product: Slony-I Version: devel Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: low Component: slon AssignedTo: slony1-bugs at lists.slony.info ReportedBy: cbbrowne at ca.afilias.info CC: slony1-bugs at lists.slony.info Estimated Hours: 0.0 There are two values, one hard-coded to 10 minutes, and the other a SQL INTERVAL value in the .conf file. Desirable to turn this into a single value, preferably the INTERVAL, and then read that into the variable used elsewhere. There is also hard-coding of vac_bias, which trends against a 100s interval. That should get changed to trend against (say) 10% of the CLEANUP_INTERVAL value. Open question as to whether we still have such a "thundering herd" problem that we need the random bits on vac_bias. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.slony.info/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
