With the attached patch I ran a 2 node slony cluster with a light (20 tps) load but very aggressive SYNCing for 4 hours. It processed over 187,000 SYNC events and 287,000 client transactions in that time. Assuming one sync per second, which I consider a usual setup, this equals two days worth of replicating.
