In 2.0.5, 2.0.6 failover to a non direct subscriber fails. It leaves nodes with
sl_subscribe entries to the backup_node as both a provider and a receiver.

Commit 7970189ec93faf3ee71cf49e97529980bbd219aa says that it removed a repeated
UPDATE statement.  The update statement removed was actually slightly different
than the one above it.
