The patch looks okay to me but I'm not able to come up with a test that
replicates this issue.

I tried executing a script via execute script that does a 'ROLLBACK' and as one
DDL then as a second one does a INSERT's the output of SELECT
current_config('datestyle') into a table on a database with a non-ISO default
datestyle and I'm not able to replicate this issue (without the patch)
