http://www.slony.info/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=33 Christopher Browne <cbbrowne at ca.afilias.info> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resolution| |WONTFIX Status|NEW |RESOLVED --- Comment #1 from Christopher Browne <cbbrowne at ca.afilias.info> 2008-02-06 13:16:15 --- Yes, you can't put "-dashes-" in the cluster name. I see indication in src/slonik/scan.l that there was at one time an intent to allow quoting the cluster name: /* quoted_ident (\"[^\"]*\")+ identifier ({ident_start}{ident_cont}*|{quoted_ident}) */ identifier ({ident_start}{ident_cont}*) Quoting never was supported (in 1.1 or 1.2). It is evidently intended as a sign that you shouldn't try to be too crazy about what cluster names you try to use. Seeing as how you normally only need one cluster name at a time, it doesn't seem like much of a bug that the "-" character is not permitted in its name. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.slony.info/bugzilla/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are on the CC list for the bug.
